Artful Alphabet	Martin Jirankova-Limbrick	Yamini, USA	2-4	Excellent art-work. A very unique book on alphabets. Depicts descriptive words, action words too which is unusual. The book is very refreshing and inspires imagination. A must read for older preschoolers.
The Hippo Hop	Christine Loomis	Yamini, USA	2-6	Imagine a groovy party for animals! Animals singing, dancing and chilling out. Can identify different animals, musical instruments and dances. For older kids, a great exposure to rhyming words. Excellent illustrations with each animal reflecting the mood of the party. My kids loved this book and so did I!
A Year in Percy's Park	Nick Butterworth, HarperCollins Publishers Ltd	Hema, India	3+	The book comes with superb illustrations. The stories are about Percy the park keeper and his animal friends. The children will love the animals and Percy 's adventure in the park. Especially "One Snowy Night" - the way the animals knock at Percy's door and snuggle into his bed and finally their is no more space everyone in the bed, but Percy manages to tuck each one in every corner of his house and they all have a sound sleep. The stories are funny and educative also. They teach how to care for animals. On the whole it is a good book for animal lovers too
Three Minute Tales, Animal Treasury	Caroline Repchuk, Parragon Age	Hema, India	3+	My daughter even today loves reading this book. She loves simple and short stories with the wonderful illustrations that are so colorful , bright and catchy. The animal cahacters are sure to delight and make perfect bedtime reading for any child.The stories impart simple values in the early childhood. Like the story - "Little Chick Lost" - where the the little chick doesn't listen to her mother, gets lost and gets into trouble. Finally with the help of the farm dog gets saved and realizes her mistake
Chowder	Peter Brown	Maya, UK	3-5	My daughter loved this book of the dog who is different. It gives a nice message that its OK to be different. Chowder finally finds friends in the critter corral. Captivating illustrations.
The Munschworks Grand Treasury	Robert N Munsch, Publisher - Annick Press Ltd	Hema, India	3-7	This book is loads of fun. Even we adults will end up laughing reading it. The stories are contemporary and hillarious with wonderful illustrations. Even today, it is my daughter's bedtime favourite. It is truly an excellent book for everyone. I love this book!!!! My daughter loves it too and I'm sure everyone will appreciate Robert Munsch's brilliant story telling quality
The little fire engine	Lois Lenski	Momme, USA	3+	I've read Cowboy small as well for my kids. Both these books introduce the characters (professions) in a very simple way.
When Sophie gets angry, really really angry	Molly Bang	Rashmi KB, USA	3-7	Double sided bold illustrations(but not your staple kind)that are Van gogh inspired with minimal text. A compassionate book that examines a child's emotions, namely anger. Narrates a realistic account between siblings. At first I did not like the "running away part" but then I guess it can be explained in various ways. Works with my son, everytime!
Houses and Homes	Ann Morris, Photographs by Ken Heyman	Karen, Singapore	4+	The book introduces different kinds of houses - big/small, that move/stay, ,made of wood/mud, on land/water etc. The photographs are clear and big. The book is organised well making it simple to understand. The photographic look at houses around the world gives kids a glimpse into a rich variety of cultures and customs. A book that gels well with cubs and me's appreciation of diversity!

The Monk who sold his Ferrari	Robin S. Sharma	Yamini, USA	Parents	A wonderful practical self-development book. One might not be able to practice the things mentioned in entirety, but it sure does offer some insights on living happily. Infact, there is a lot that one can do with ones cubs from an early age! A Must read for parents who're role models for kids!
Unstoppable me!	Dr. Wayne Dyer	Momme, USA	4+	A must have and must read. Simply describes 10 ways to grow into a healthy, happy, confident and satisfied human.
